Bids Estimating LLC agrees to create a digital “estimation” document with the job description agreed upon in the emailed invoice. 

Quantities, numbers, scope, or other information contained in the estimation document have been compiled to the best of our knowledge. By using or inferring any information contained in the final estimation document mentioned above, you acknowledge that the information and quantities are correct and waive any claim for any error in the information. 

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate drawing and scope of work. Bids Estimating LLC makes no warranties with respect to the information contained in the “estimation” document. Bids Estimating LLC uses RS Means and National Construction Estimator by Craftsman Book Company to obtain local labor and material prices. Bids Estimating LLC is not responsible for price discrepancies between estimated database costs and final prices.

Bids Estimating LLC to prepare a quote, you agree that this quote is a guideline and is for informational purposes only. Our prices and quantities are not professional recommendations and are to be used only as a guide and resource for completing pricing. 

Labour and material prices vary by contractor, vendor, installer, supplier, and zip code and are compiled from a regularly updated construction cost database, and are subject to change without notice. Manually adjusted labor cost is the hourly rate approved by the customer. 

 Unless otherwise specified, the estimated delivery time for the “estimation” document is usually 9 business days after the date of payment. Delivery times are a guide only and are not guaranteed unless expedited fees or guaranteed fees are included. Business days are established as Monday through Friday, excluding all holidays. 

 If an estimated order is canceled after payment but prior to delivery, Bids Estimating LLC will review and determine the amount of any refund, if any, and will include labor, transaction, and other costs in determining the refund. 

 The minimum cancellation fee is 25% even if the estimate has not been started. However, once payment is made, Bids Estimating LLC reserves the right to refuse refunds and may issue a credit note to be used for subsequent estimates. 

 A standard estimate consists of an excel sheet with the cost of labor, material, subcontractor markup, contingency, supervision, equipment, and construction costs. 

 If you provide a bill of materials. The bill of materials provided is a basic bill of materials and includes preliminary quantities that are not necessarily accessories, connectors, screws, and other items required for installation. These additional accessories are not included in the scope of delivery. 

 Amendments to “estimation” document that differ from standard delivery are considered additional work and may incur additional charges. Bids Estimating LLC has no obligation to make any changes once delivery has been made. 

 Revisions are not considered part of the original product or service offered and are not required unless additional charges are made. 

 Bids Estimating LLC may use any form of media, company names, project names, personal names, testimonials, estimates, documents, PDFs, drawings, images, customer logos, or other information for marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing in the form of a non-disclosure agreement by the builder or “client”. 

 If the information is confidential or is intended to be kept confidential, it is the client’s responsibility to notify in writing so that a proper non-disclosure agreement can be drawn up to be signed by both parties.
